Placenta Information and Encapsulation Services
Placenta is a one of a kind organ that develops when a woman becomes pregnant. One of its functions is to absorb nutrients from mom's blood to nourish the developing baby.In most cases, the placenta is disposed with hospital waste after the baby's birth. It is unfortunate considering that it contains minerals and hormones such as Estrogen, Progesterone, Prolactin, Oxytocin, and CRH that could benefit mom in the postpartum period.
The sudden drop of hormones after birth can trigger anemia, "Baby Blues", and postpartum depression. By using the Placenta Pills, mom is re-introducing vitamins, minerals, and hormones into her own system.
YOUR PLACENTA CANNOT BE TREATED WITH FORMALIN OR FORMALDEHYDE. IF TREATED WITH THIS HARMFULCHEMICAL, IT WILL NO LONGER BE SUITABLE FOR ENCAPSULATION.

What method do you follow for placenta encapsulation?
I use TCM and Raw Food Method for placenta encapsulation. Both encapsulation methods include cleaning, dehydrating, powdering, and encapsulating. When preparing the placenta using TCM method, I add the step of steaming it with herbs. When using the Raw Food Method I do not steam the placenta.
TCM: longer shelf life, warming, tonifying.
Raw Food Method: stronger energy burst, freshest hormonal benefits.
You may choose both methods.

When do you start the encapsulation process?
Ideally, I will start the encapsulation process within 24 hours after your baby's birth. If it is not possible to process the placenta within 48 hours for whatever reason, it should be double bagged in Ziploc freezer bags and frozen. Before encapsulation, the placenta should be completely thawed, which takes about 24 hours.
Where do you encapsulate?
Legally, I can prepare the placenta only in your home. During the first visit, I will prepare the placenta for dehydration and will let it dry until my return the following day. During the second visit, the placenta will be ground and encapsulated. Visits last 1-3 hours.
Do I need to provide any equipment?
I will be using my own equipment, cleaning and sterilizing all parts and work area when finished. I follow strict OSHA guidelines.
