What is a postpartum doula?
In the postpartum period, I provide emotional, physical, and researched based informational support, nurture the new mom, and help with the transition after the baby's birth.Postpartum support varies by family and their unique needs.

What are YOUR needs?

Because each family is unique and has different needs, I would like to meet you preferably in your third trimester or shortly after your baby's birth to find out how to best help you.  

The postpartum doula services can include but are notlimited to:

  • Emotional and physical support
  • Hands-on education on infant and mother care 
  • Assistance with breastfeeding & pumping 
  • Sibling support
  • Light housekeeping, laundry and nutritious meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping and short errands
  • Accompany mom on outings like doctor visits, support groups, etc.
  • A listening, non-judgmental ear
  • Overnight support           

What else will you get?

  • Phone and email support as soon as your baby or babies are born
  • Access to my lending library as soon as you hire me (even if you hire me during pregnancy)

Fees and Booking Information:

  • Minimum 3 hours
  • Contact me for information regarding fees. Fees vary on travel distance and your needs. 

Payment Information:

  • I accept checks, cash and credit card payments via Paypal.
  • Ask family and friends to help you get a doula as a shower gift or via Baby Registry! Gift Certificates for all services available. 
  • Partial barter services are available.
